this thursday night, we are pleased to re-introduce the wonderful wines of ONTANON to you. we will focus on varietals viura, tempranillo, grenacha, and graciano all from the region of rijoa. there are both new vintages and blends for you to try AND, (big bonus) our friend the lovely + talented laine boswell will be here to lead you through the flight. she has spent a lot of time with her ontanon family in spain and is an expert when it comes to the nuances of this formidable vino.

Our good friend, Lyle Railsback, is THE Northwest's authority on Kermit Lynch wines. Lyle will lead you through an incredible progression of deliciousness from Corsica. So looking forward to our next tasting on Thursday: Memaloose Winery from the Columbia River Gorge AVA. Owner, Rob McCormick will be pouring through their current releases. You will Taste: Viognier-Chardonnay, Barbera--Primitivo, Syrah-Grenache, and Estate Cabernet Franc. 

The growing conditions and climate along the Columbia River lead to wines with that are quite different from other Washington State AVAs. The name Memaloose comes from the river island that is a sacred burial ground. That island lies between their vineyards on both the Washington and Oregon sides of the river. With both Washington and Oregon fruit, the blends that Memaloose create are spectacular.

5:30-7:30pm. $9 tasting fee includes pantry nibs.

This Thursday night meet an icon in the Washington wine industry, Doug McCrea. We are pleased to feature his latest project Salida Wine featuring the Tempranillo grape. Salida wines pair well with big flavors and big palates. This wine is like a love letter to tempranillo. Please join us between 5:30 and 7:30. $9 tasting fee.

This Thursday night we are so excited to highlight a Napa Valley icon, Robert Sinskey. Gorgeous wines in an amazing setting. The winery is a stunning sight located along the bucolic Silverado Trail. Tucked amongst the rows of grapes you are immersed in the wine making process. You must visit if you ever find yourself there. 

In the meantime you can taste four Sinskey wines this Thursday at PICNIC. One not to miss. $9- tasting fee includes treats from our pantry. We start pouring at 5:30 and the tasting wraps at 7:30.
